This past weekend was THON 2010 at Penn State. It was honestly one of the most amazing weekends of my life. As a member of Opperations Committee, I woke up at 5 am on Friday to set up and spent most of the weekend there on the floor, making sure everything was running smoothly. Coming home on Sunday night around 8 o’clock, I knew that this experience was amazing. To see 40,000 people from so many different backgrounds and organizations come together and raise over 7 million dollars for kids with cancer was unbelievable. However, now that I think back, I regret not really stopping and taking everything in. Running around the whole time, I was so busy that I did not really enjoy what was going on around me. I wish that I would have taken the time to play with the kids, and talk with the dancers.
