On Monday was PRSSA’s first ever Winter Fashion Show and it was a great success. We would like to thank everyone who attended, especially our event planning committee and our lovely models who helped make this event possible.
The show opened with the Coda Conduct, one of Penn State’s acapella groups. Their version of “Clarity” by Zedd set the mood for the night. DJ A Cube also complimented the show with his mash up of traditional holiday songs along and some party classics.
The models flaunted their stuff on the runway, wearing outfits from Macy’s and Maurice’s from the Nittany Mall. The models perfectly portrayed the looks of all four categories: casual everyday wear, ugly sweater, holiday wear and new year’s celebration wear, and wowed the crowd.
Two lucky attendees of the show received gift cards to The Tavern and Kildare’s Pub and Restaurant by participating our Twitter poll. Lots of guests tweeted about their greatest holiday memories.
Generous donations were received from our audience to support Toys for Tots. We’d like to give a special thank you for anyone supported this great cause. You’ve given many children a holiday to remember!
The event planning committee is very proud of the success of our Winter Fashion Show, and we can’t wait for our future events. Stick around next week for the greatest finals-stress relieve we could think of when PRSSA Presents Puppies!
