This Thursday, Feb. 6, from 6-9p.m. Momentum Fitness and the PRSSA philanthropy committee will host a kickboxing event that will benefit THON. Kick for a Cure is an alternative fundraiser in which all proceeds go toward THON. THON is a 46 hour no sitting no sleep marathon that raises money for The Four Diamonds Fund.
Participants in ‘Kick for the Cure’ have the opportunity to sign-up before hand for a 30-minute kickboxing class by visiting the Facebook event and clicking to the sign-up sheet. There is a $5 entrance fee which will be 100% donated to the Penn State Dance Marathon.
This is a great way for supporters, dancers and volunteers alike, to get in shape for THON weekend.
The classes will be taught by Momentum Fitness trainer TJ Turner. No equipment or experience is required gloves will be provided. Beginners and pros are all welcome to the class!
We have seen a lot of interest in the event (which is awesome) and only have a few spaces left!
So if you are free th evening of February 6th, come to a fun, fit, and philanthropic event at Momentum Fitness, located on Heister St. behind the Student Book Store.
We look forward to seeing you there!
