On Thursday Feb. 13 from 5-8pm at FIJI on Burrows Rd. the Penn State Public Relations Student Society of America Philanthropy committee will be having its final alternative THON fundraiser, a spaghetti dinner. With an entrance fee of 5$ customers can get spaghetti, salad and a drink. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Penn State Dance Marathon.
The Philanthropy Committee has been working non-stop this year with over five alternative fundraisers that have brought in over 100$ each. This final push is both a time to work and celebrate their efforts throughout the THON fundraising window. With THON being just a week away, everything is in full prep mode.
“I think this will be a great last push and a great way for us to bond before THON weekend is here,” said Philanthropy chairperson Caroline Nelson. “Our members have been outstanding this year, we could not have done it without them.”
If you are feeling hungry and want food, fun and friends, stop by FIJI from 5-8pm on Thursday, Feb. 13.
