The co-founders of Small Girls PR, Mallory Blair and Bianca Caampued, will be visiting Penn State Tuesday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m. in 262 Willard to provide insight to those interested in the public relations industry. Since opening their doors four years ago, the Brooklyn-based firm has executed national campaigns for high-profile clients such as Meetup, Gawker, Google and General Electric.
In 2013, Business Insider ranked Small Girls PR as one of the top 15 women-led startups, and Mallory Blair was named to their top 50 PR professionals list. Small Girls PR champions a more personable approach to PR that relies as much on influencer partnerships, real life experiences and social strategy as it does communications crafting and media pitching.
According to Blair, “Small Girls PR was founded to craft personable two-way dialogues between consumer and client through a combination of new media strategy and old-fashioned charm.” Small Girls has provided services to a wide variety of industries, including consumer, fashion and technology. For all those interested in public relations, this is a great opportunity to hear from a few of the best in the business.
